The Chrysler 48RE transmission is a four-speed automatic transmission that was released in 2003 behind the 5.9L Cummins Turbodiesel. In 2003-2007 Ram Trucks the 48RE was considered a strong improvement over the 47RE. The 48RE torque rating is up to 570 lb-ft. Benton's Diesel & Transmission offers 5 upgraded fully built 48RE transmission solutions to meet the demands and applications of our customers.
