Our Stage 3 48RE Transmission build Is designed for trucks around 1000 RWHP. This unit is full billet shafts which supports a monster street truck. The valvebody is more aggressive but is still daily driver friendly.
The Chrysler 48RE transmission is a four-speed automatic transmission that was released in 2003 behind the 5.9L Cummins Turbodiesel. In 2003-2007 Ram Trucks the 48RE was considered a strong improvement over the 47RE. The 48RE torque rating is up to 570 lb-ft.
